Wanna say I’ve been a lurker for over 15 years. Reading this blog just about everyday has deepened my knowledge of basketball and connection to the Knicks (haven’t lived in NY since the last finals). I feel like I know so many of you even though you don’t know me.

I grew up going to Knicks games in the 90s so while the past 2.5 decades have been painful I always had those core memories. As was said the other day by llcoolbp, what has been so special about this run has been the connection it’s fostered with my pre-teen sons. They’re sadly committed to the Knicks, but happily we’ll always have this to share. The older one will often ask during games “what is the blog saying?”

Today has been a long, slow day. Whatever happens I’m grateful I have you all to be following along with…0-0 and one more!

Tough moments for me.
-Charles Smith misses layups
-1997 suspensions
-losing to Rockets in game 6 and 7
-Game 1 loss to Pacers

To be fair there are alot of tough moments for Knicks fans. Even though the 90s were great bc we were contenders it also didn’t result in a title. That was hard.

I was at the Charles Smith game. No worse moment. That was the year where it felt possible. The only one.
