He’s practically conceding that the Knicks won’t win another championship until the next rebuild because there’s no way this team can take a rotation step backwards and maintain any small edge they have over a BUNCH of very good teams that wil be getting better after off season moves and/or internal development.
We don’t have anyone that can replace what Shamet did for us and we aren’t going to be able get another player like him cheaper than what he would probably take to stay.
We don’t have anyone to replace what healthy Mitch can do unless they are convinced Hukporti is ready. Maybe he can, but I’m not.
I think Mitch is gone.”

With this and the news about gkheman, I’m just getting sadder and sadder. Not what I wanted to be feeling on Parade Day.

To everyone going to the parade today- be safe and have the time of your life!! I can’t come up to NY because the missus just had wrist surgery on Tuesday. She gave me permission to go, but I can’t leave her for that length of time so early in her recovery. But make no mistake- when she does recover, her and I are definitely gonna fight LOL. And imma win this time!!

Big news: Dolan on WFAN just now said the Knicks will not go into the second apron.

This is the second time in my life the Beatles are breaking up.

I have to say, i’m really suprised by this. I was way wrong yesterday. Jim, thank you so much for your openness. It’s crazy how intertwined this team is with the essence of each of our souls.

I’m at 125th taking Metro North into GCT. 6:03am. Packed train of Knick fans. We’re all expecting to see madness along with something we’ve never seen in our lives. What’s madder than mad? What’s more lit than lit (word to Noah)? What’s more epic than whatever our imagination can predict (btw, unpredictability is an opponent of autistic folks like me)?

We’re all about to find out.
