Thank you for the welcome, cybersoze. I’m not actually a new sign-up to the board, but it’s fair to say my posts have been infrequent.

This evening’s publishing of the injury/resting reports has led to significant swings in the betting odds for games to pertinent to deciding the Knicks’ first round opponent.

ATL went from a 6.5 pt favorite over MIA to a 1.5 pt underdog. That’s not favorable for those wanting the #3-#6 NYK matchup with TOR.

However, as counterbalance, ORL has improved from a 4.5 pt fave over BOS to a 10.5 pt fave. As mentioned above, an ORL win maintains ATL’s #5 seed, even if ATL loses, because of the 3-way tiebreak. And in the process would keep TOR at #6 and playing NYK (presuming TOR’s win over BKN, where TOR is a 20.5 pt favorite).

Last season, our last game of the regular season was in Brooklyn, we sat the exact same players (JB, Hart, OG, KAT, Mitch) and Mikal played a grand total of 6 seconds.
