I was running up in the mountains many miles from anything resembling metropolitan Los Angeles a few years ago and another guy was up there for a change and he shouted “you got this, you’re awesome!” and I said “thanks, Seal!”, and he said “anytime, man!”

Not sure what the point of this story is, except to say that if everybody was as recognizable as Seal I think the world would feel a lot smaller.

Great stuff about music and concerts, keep it going! 🙂
Last year I caught possibly the show of the decade, for me of course, in a super small venue, maybe 300 people or something. They’re from the 80s, like me, and I’m a big fan, I didn’t think I’d see them live after all these years. I don’t think anyone among you is into punk/hardcore, so probably won’t know them… D.R.I. is their name and the concert was epic! Pure energy! 🤟

maybe just wishful thinking, but it feels like KAT raises his game when he goes against jokic, hope he has a good one tonight…
