Was looking through the game schedule for last season. We got beat pretty badly by the best teams last year – Boston, Cleveland and OKC. We also lost to Detroit twice and lost three games in a row to close out the season before winning our last game against the nets, so we weren’t exactly riding high into the playoffs.

So that did make me feel better but then I did the math and yes we’ve gone 12 and 4 the last 16 but we’ve also gone 14 and 13 the last 27 so who the F knows.

Mike Brown is going to be judged by whether or not this team gets to the finals and how they perform in that series. Nothing else matters. My only problem with him before that data exists would be that all the work he’s doing fiddling with lineups and the strange Kateractions we get glimpses of were being done without an eye to winning the championship this year. I don’t assume Mike Brown is stupid so I cannot assume he isn’t working with the same expectations as the rest of us. We should have enough to get there this year.
