Bob, if you are going to state the obvious, don’t be dumb about it. Marfan’s is a very specific disorder caused by a genetic mutation. You are not predisposed to Marfan’s because you happen to be tall. It’s a by-product of the mutation. Either you have it or you don’t.

I am fairly certain it is an extablished fact that extremely tall humans have are more likely to have Marfan’s than the average sized human.

If you want to quibble about the definition of predisposed, or chicken and egg stuff, feel free.

Predisposed means to be inclined to a specific action or condition. Tall folks are predisposed to Marfan’s when compared to the general population (which was the context of the statement). That’s factorial.

Being predisposed doesn’t imply causality.

I can’t argue with this. It screams you still don’t understand how to value players correctly and don’t want to admit that endless injuries and misuse in development were an issue in how he ended up.
