local man perplexed that blog of diehard sportsteam fans care about sports games. not all tears are an evil, bob. one must imagine Sisyphus happy.

That’s not it al all. “local man” is a fan of the team amd has watched them with regularity since 1960. “local man” understands the meaning of the word fan. “local man” cannot imagine any sane fellow’s emotional well being in the balance over the out come of tonight’s game.

Local Man watches pro basketball as performance art of ballet among giants and finds the game pleasing even if his local team loses. It is an artful game.

EB, today was the deadline for cutting players whose salary would become guaranteed after January 10th. They have to clear waivers by the 10th, so the practical cut date is 48 hours earlier. Evbuoman’s salary didn’t count against the cap because he was on a two way contract, so the move doesn’t give more cap flexibility. But it does give them a little bit more roster flexibility in that now they have an open two way roster spot. Hukporti will also become guaranteed on the 10th, but they clearly need him.
