obviously we’ve not spoken closely enough for me to know exactly – but, it sure seems like you have a mindset which will allow you to age in prime fashion…

Thank you for your kind concern. My son was discharged from the hospital today. My wife and I took a 75 minute drive to pick him up and even longer to drive him back to our house (traffic building up). Thanksgiving dinner will be tomorrow.

To answer your question in cliff notes form, I was always a bit driven to hard work. I was a homely kid with a speech impediment. With heart problems starting at age 6, I was not a good athlete (slowest kid in whole school in 7th grade). So, I was always trying to find something that I could do reasonably well. I played one on one basketball against the best player in Paramus to hone my skills in that sport. I got good enough to possibly make my junior high team but “chickened out” when it was tryout time. I vowed I would tryout for a team in the spring. The choices were baseball (which I sucked at) or the track team (I was improving at running in 9th grade gym class). I chose the latter. In the first meet, I surprised myself by winning the mile run by a quarter of a track margin over local powerhouse, Bergen Catholic. I have been running ever since that day at age 14 (162,000 miles worth).

seems yabusele has carved out a role first guy off the bench dont bother shooting or scoring unless its a wide open 3 grab a few rebounds and play about 10 minutes its not much but hes pretty consistent at it his game logs are almost astoundingly consistent

AND… Mike Brown didn’t leave his starters in too long… that point differential could be the difference between Detroit at home or Detroit on the road… that’s a real, tangible reason to play your starters in a 25 point game… he should not be getting killed for this by anyone.

I’ll leave it up to anyone who cares to decide the who’s right and who’s wrong here, or to read the comments from the old game thread in context to determine whether I am being hypocritical or not. In any case, given how the board feels about our interactions, you should be the last one to point it out, and if nobody else does, then it’s probably not a thing. And since when is calling somebody a troll not a personal attack?

No one blindsided you, dude. You came on here and killed Mike Brown for leaving his starters in too long. I just pointed out you never had a problem with it before, and then you melted down when faced with the kind of accountability people here deal with all the time.

You are the last guy who should be here killing a coach for leaving his starters in too long. That’s not a personal attack.
