Actually painful, a few of them. Jemison is a powerhouse who doesn’t yet know how to play basketball, and Ev and McCullar, like most of our scrubs, had a few good moments late in the game.

Kolek (and then Deuce) went on a very nice run to bring them back to within 20, the other guys made a couple of plays here and there, but mostly just random garbage time stuff.

Kolek, Jemison, McCulkar and Evbuoman stood out to me in the box score. Were they actually good?

-I don’t think Dadiet did much to help his cause. Meaning that whatever the decision was before the game hasn’t changed. The one thing he did well was rebound.

-Kolek showed guts and guile in the second half, but he got away with a lot of stuff in the paint that would not be available vs. a better team. I just don’t see any development from him, and think we could pick up a similar player on the waiver wire at any time.

-Clarkson and Brogdon both looked meh. Probably not easy to play with scrubs.

-Yabu looks slow and out of shape. Did not look like a high-IQ player. Totally dominated by the Wiz’s bigs. Worrisome.

-Jemison looks like a very decent 2-way contract big. Great energy!

-He looks raw and confused at times, but Diawara has hit a couple of spot-up 3’s and made some nice drives.

-I like things about Tosan but his FTs are as bad as Mitch’s.

-McCullar seems a couple of years away..maybe more.

-I hope I never see Alex Len or Matt Ryan on the floor in a Knicks uniform ever again.

Bottom line: Didn’t learn much from this game other than Washington’s scrubs looked way less scrubby than our scrubs.
