Wonder if there is any data on Finals results when the better team is exhausted due to the rigourous path vs a less talented rested team.

There is data, and it’s not a thing.

The closest is Draymond picking up a bunch of flagrants and getting suspended for reaching his quota in the 2016 finals. That wasn’t exhaustion, though, and Draymond is always a special case (both great and terrible).

Minny, Dallas, Denver, and San Antonio. Obviously OKC is still the favorite to make the finals and Houston is the team to watch, but there’s gonna be some dogfights out there!

Facts Zman...I would put the degree of difficulty of winning the West this year to be near par with winning back to back titles.

Wonder if there is any data on Finals results when the better team is exhausted due to the rigourous path vs a less talented rested team.

“who is evans”

lol...my bad. I was thinking of Myles Turner.

It was frustrating to see KAT run to the left break and stop...zero chance for Brunson, Hart or Bridges to make that over shoulder pass when they're attacking the rim on the right side before the defense is fully set. First runner must fill the opposite corner. If the ball comes back out...they can always reset and shuffle KAT back above the break if they're concerned with transition defense.
