I’m very disappointed in how Kolek looks so far. He looked better in the handful of NBA games he played in when Brunson was out. I wasn’t expecting a jump up. The season barely ended. So he hasn’t had much time to work on his game, but he should look better against the much weaker competition. Now I’m strongly in favor of bringing in a veteran PG like Wright or someone else that can handle the job of running the second unit.

I think I could live with Kolek’s defense if he both scored and set up others to score. His defense is not good, but it didn’t look that bad today. But his scoring was awful. His shots didn’t just miss, they mostly weren’t close either. He has to improve that over the summer.
