As currently constructed, the Wizards are a lottery team, but they definitely surprise if either a couple of their young players make the leap or they make a move with their abundant cap space.

And even if they only move to bottom 7 or 8, there’s a reasonable chance that they fall to #9.

Whitmore is a talented, explosive player. Not sure where the b-ball IQ is but he’s only 20. Meanwhile, Houston’s GM is doing a nice job of Presti-ing.

The Wizards picking up Cam Whitmore for a couple 2nds is a nice piece of business. They continue to act like a team that at least kind of knows what they’re doing
