Just saw a theory floated in the wilds of the internet that it’s not Giannis that the Knicks are targeting, but it’ll be Luka.
We are def assembling a significant ex-Mavs group within the org – maybe the overtures toward Kidd are part of a larger long term plan??

True, but this is sugar-coating things quite a bit. He had a chance to cut the lead to 2 but missed both FTs, leaving the lead at 4. Then he commits dumb foul #1 and SGA converts, making the lead 5. Then they get a steal and he makes only one of two, making the lead 4 instead of 3. So sure, Pacers were down 4, but if he makes his 3 FTs and doesn’t commit the first foul, they could have been tied. The second one was more moot.

Point being that it wouldn’t have been a miracle finale. Just one based on better execution.
