If OKC loses this series it will make the West look very over-rated with all the glazing it gets.

People totally forget that the reason the West was better than the East this season was because there were more bad teams in the East. Once you get past the first round of the playoffs that difference is irrelevant. It’s probably harder to win in a bracket with Boston, Cleveland and NY than a bracket with the Timberwolves, Nuggets and Warriors. It’s certainly not easier.

Most of the time they said no, sometimes they said I’ll think about it, and occasionally people would actually say we were thinking about selling.

So the point is, why not ask coaches from other teams? Kick the tyres, see what’s out there! What harm is in that?

There are lineups with Durant that would be accretive, but this is not the same Durant as a few years ago. He’s very likely to miss more than just the normal handful of games and he’s not a defender anymore.

I’m sorry, Strat, but even a 37 y/o Kevin Durant is close to a lock to be 3X better than OG Anunoby or Mikal Bridges. There’s simply no way acquiring him makes us plummet to 45 wins.
