The Inside the NBA guys were making a great point that it helps Indiana a lot that the Knicks legit don’t know if Hali is going to take the shot late, as he has multiple teammates he trusts to take the shot late, while Indy can know it WILL be Brunson (and maaaaaaybe Towns) who is going to shoot late.

It shouldn’t have come down to this tonight, Brian. That is the problem.

We won a game JUST LIKE THIS against Boston, in fact TWO of them, and you were swearing we were going to lose that series after games three and five.

Not just like this. As strat pointed out, playoff teams up 14+ with 2:45 to go were 994-0 before today. This choke job is unprecedented in recorded NBA history. Boston bled leads away slowly. We got our souls owned.

Sure, we won the series. But that’s not the song you were singing literally in the last round.

We were gonna lose that series according to you even inflicting the same exact kind of loss that’s apparently impossible to recover from.

BOS was a far superior team and the defending champs, who had just recently shown the ability to come back from 3-0 to force a game 7, and likely would have won that game 7 if not for Tatum getting hurt. We were about even money in betting markets even after going up 2-0. Here we are at best evenly matched and just showed IND that we’ll bemd right over for them in front of our home crowd whenever they want. We are now significant underdogs to win the series.

We’re fucked and everyone here knows it.
