I was so excited for our playoff run last year and I can honestly say that this time, I’m close to indifferent as to what happens, but if I had to point to a preferred outcome, the hierarchy would be something like:

1. Beat the Celtics and make at least the ECF (close to impossible)
2. Lose ignominiously to DET, prompting Thibs’ firing and a possible roster shake-up
3. Do exactly what’s reasonably expected, which is beat DET in 6-7 and lose to BOS in 4-5.

What a difference a year makes. We had so much more for this year last season, and now I expect to have less hope next year than we do now.

But yay, we win (barely) 50 games now so I guess I’m the asshole.
