All I had done was respond to Raven’s 6:02 pm post about Brunson at 6:12 pm (on a topic that I started) when Donnie decided to denigrate me for no reason at 7:12 pm. What on earth did I do to deserve that?

Just because a million people complain about me, that doesn’t make it justified.

I did a tour many years ago with a band that had ten people in it, plus eight other people in the traveling party. There was occasionally some conflict between people, but the one thing that unified us all was a deep loathing of the tour manager. The main reason everybody loathed him was that the guy felt the need to dominate every conversation, and was just the most relentlessly stale and unfunny human being who ever lived. Would try to crack a joke and everybody would just sort of sit there in annoyed silence. He was like the grim reaper— if you were having a good time he would make sure to figure out a way to wreck it.

If you were on a flight, and you were stuck in the seat next to him, you were bummed. If three or four people were standing around and having a conversation, and he walked up, everybody would just disperse. We’d arrive at the venue and within minutes everybody who worked at the place would experience the same revulsion. It was a stunning combination of a need to run his mouth all the time mixed with a hopeless inability to read a room.

was checking through the menu and dashboard to see if there was some field to directly message either BC or Mike K.

it does not appear as though either are inclined to take action in regard to doogie, maybe some matter of free speech principle or some such perhaps…maybe doogie kicks in on patron more than most/any…

was thinking though, if the group feels this strongly, which it seems to, and the feeling is not dissipating, which it seems to not be, than yeah let’s work towards some real resolution…

did come across this reference to a group called: the satanic temple on the dashboard/menu stuff…which, despite the weird misnomer of a name seems to be trying to do good…took me a minute though to figure all that out…odd name for a charitable organization…maybe i’m just getting old…

anyways, no way i see to directly contact either BC or Mike K…

i don’t know, maybe just randomly bombard BC with comments the next time he pokes his head in (a la JK’s gif there)…

i hate being stuck in the past, if the site is getting stuck on one broken spoke in the wheel, pull it out already, wheel will still turn fine missing that one spoke…

so yeah, next time BC pops up – maybe we all need to yell: hey, what the hecks…in unison…

my intuition says though, the awareness is already there with BC, and probably Mike K. too…so, i don’t know…

There was nothing annoying about either of those topics. But you did not post a comment about Ja, or even a comment and then a reply to someone else. You posted SIX comments within the first 17.

As Pags said, rather humorously, but as with much of humor it’s funny because it’s true, “Eventually this will just be Doogie’s personal diary.”

I was thinking it’s a bit like having Posting Tourette’s. And now with the requisite swearing, too.

And for the record, JUST ON THIS THREAD we have Pags, Swift, Donnie, Z-Man, Raven, Noble, Clarence, and JK47 all having a problem with you.

I asked much earlier today what I had done that was so “annoying” when Pags disparaged me for no reason. I was never given a response, because of course there is none. All I’d done was bring up Morant this morning. And all I’d done this afternoon after that shit was finally over was bring up when Brunson should come back.

So if you don’t have an answer as to what was so annoying about those two topics, either, then fuck you, too.

Chuma Okeke is interesting. I don’t know why we have Tucker on the roster instead of him. He did well in Westchester and on the 76ers (see link). I’m not one who thinks we should have taken Warren. The end of your bench doesn’t just sit there rooting, they are also needed for scrimmages in practice. I assume we needed a big body for this, not another guard. But Okeke and Tucker play the same position, so Okeke could have filled practice needs.
