If we sign a person to a minimum contract and also add one or two two-way players I think we will still have only fourteen players on full contracts. Could we convert one of the two ways to a regular contract on the last day of the season and then have them playoff eligible? (Two way players cannot play in the playoffs). Or would our cap situation prevent this?

We currently have 14 NBA contracts. If we sign a minimum player, our roster will be full.

However, because we waited (at least) an extra day to sign a minimum player, there will be enough salary on the final day of the season to cut Shamet or Delon and sign a final minimum player.

For instance, sign TJ today. Cut Delon on last day of season and sign Okeke on last day of season.

Gotta miss the game, going to the Kyiv Ballet of all things. Which is weirdly coincidental as I’m working furiously to get three colleagues out of Kyiv on a study tour to San Diego. It’s all Ukraine, all the time.

I’ll look forward to the reading the game stream and perhaps try to watch the game on delay at the same time. Always hard, though, someone always gives up the next play…

Grimes is still on his rookie contract. He’ll be lucky to get a deal at the MLE. And he is approximately 100x better than Shamet. This is all very stupid.

I was going to say that adding Kai Jones to one of the 2-way spots would be a good idea, but then i read this.
