Gene Hackman likely died nine days before his body was found, sheriff says

Data from the pacemaker of Oscar-winning actor Gene Hackman indicates he died on Feb. 17, nine days before investigators found his body and that of his wife Betsy Arakawa in their New Mexico home, said Santa Fe County Sheriff Adan Mendoza. Carbon monoxide poisoning has been ruled out.
