They really should just have him get surgery and shut him down for the year, which is just hilariously sad for them. That dude is clearly not right. Add in George falling off of a cliff, and I can definitely live with “only” being a 54 win team versus that trainwreck of a team (and Morey keeps on making clever moves on the margins…which are meaningless, since two-thirds of his “Big Three” are terrible).

Most fans are like “these athletes make too much money, all they do is run up and down the court, they don’t even play hard!”

Sure, ptmilo. My assumption is that it’s our best players happen to be terrible defenders and are targeted, and we don’t have great rotations and schemes that are outdated and don’t cover the three well…

seriously ofc we are going to be dogs to the celtics and mitch kat is definitely not the answer you’d draw up in the lab. but at least with two giants we can try to switch 1-4 and still have a fighting chance to end most possessions with either one of the bigs or OG within a light year of paint/jalen help range. and finally stop running karl anthony towns in drop who is worse at than any non-jericho 5 in the nba at that particular activity. and maybe herbalife mitch will block conseuctive kp threes in game one and they’ll just quit on the spot. bring on the sword and shield.

Mitch’s main value is in drop, he’s excellent in eating up space if, if, if he is freed up to roam. Like the way KP was freed up by putting him on Hart.

I suppose you can have Mitch guard Brown and live with his variance. But the Celtics have counters for that strategy as well. If Brown gums things up, they can bring in Hauser or Prichard, or play big with both Horford and KP out there. Then what?

Also, I won’t have to watch Hart try to box out Luke Kornet because our PFs are the undersized Precious Achiuwa and OG. Really, not seeing Achiuwa again would be worth a lot even if Mitch doesn’t make a difference against Boston.
