Seems like the Mets are out on Alonso, and they’re a big bat short. They should probably move Vientos to first where he’d be a plus defender and focus on bringing in a 3B. They’re still way short of their 2024 payroll number so I wonder if they get back in on Alex Bregman. With Bregman they’d suddenly be a strong defensive team: Vientos, McNeil, Lindor and Bregman in the infield, Siri (gold glove caliber defender) in CF, Alvarez behind the plate.

If they don’t sign Bregman they will need to give up some prospects to fill that hole.

Thanks Doogie. I’m going to a party tomorrow night called gimme a reason. DJ boufantboufant (sp?). Chicago house meets new Orleans bounce. It should be rad. The last time I was out here this party had me twirling. I’m also in town because of a burlesque festival. I’m working with one of the queens of burlesque on my next project and have a bunch of meetings with local producers and talent. I like to meet new people so the meetings are cool, but it’s business. You always gotta make sure the people you work with are decent people. It’s pretty stressful as I have to monitor my anxiety and resultant weirdness but I’ve become pretty good at harnessing it for my benefit. Mostly. Dancing with likeminded sexy gays really is the perfect release. I’m thinking you’re gonna have a great weekend too!
