Writ large, to move the needle up where most (not all) of us want it to go means trading Anunoby, Bridges, Brunson or Towns for better players. That’s what happens when you singe the asset chest. If you like those four dudes for their own sake and are happy with quality basketball short of contention, you’ll enjoy watching them.(*) But that isn’t the audience I’m addressing.

@Noble they’re 2 games out of 9th in the West, hence why I said “if they fall out of the race.” They have a lot of injury prone guys on their team. If Murray and Porter go down maybe they look to next year and take the draft compensation.
