I’ve always guessed people retiring in Florida are part of this but that surely can’t be all of it

A lot of retired NYers in Florida, especially central Florida. For example, my dad moved to Palm Bay in ‘05. Palm Bay’s population has grown a lot over the years and that’s mostly due to retired folks moving in. Several of his former coworkers also live relatively near him.

TNFH that makes sense, but how do you explain the predominant Knicks crowd in Orlando?

Leon just needs to land one more two way vet that Thibs respects before playoffs and then its on the players to perform this spring.

Problem is that I can’t even think of a player that fits and is gettable. Any ideas?

Do you guys think all these Knicks fans are New Yorkers making a road trip or NY transplants?

I have a lot of friends and family in D.C. so I often make the trip for the game. It’s much, much, much cheaper than seeing the Knicks at MSG, and that includes everything from the bus to D.C., to food and drinks for the whole damn weekend.

Didn’t go this year because I have NYE vacation plans, but last season I got a Kyle Kuzma weird pink sweater bobblehead out of it.

That’s interesting, because I see it the opposite: if those 3 minutes were just starters running through the motions then its wasted time, no? Might as well get your bench unit some minutes.

it’s wasted time, I agree, just not as tiring as 3 “real” minutes would be for the starters I guess.
