Which will lead to everybody playing with dead legs by New Years if this bench doesn’t open up. They need Matt Ryan to help if Thibs isn’t going to trust his rookies. The rookies take up 3 roster spots now.

Precious is a switchable 4/5. It moves OG to his “best” position as a long 3 and Mikal to his best position as a long 2. You don’t give up THAT much offense going from Hart to Precious and the rest of the starting 5 is good enough on offense and shooting, you don’t really need HART to start. But as the leader of the bench/6th man, Hart can wreck fools.

Not that Hart is a big threat from 3 but he’s better than Precious and he’s not enough of a scorer to solve the bench scoring issue. With Precious at the 4 the 5 out idea is gone. So it’s not like there isn’t a significant trade off that won’t even solve the bench problem
