I don’t think it was great defense in the first half that killed us. We missed a ton of shots, including layups, that we normally make.

This team is getting too frustrating for me. I can appreciate all the talent, but if you don’t defend, the game turns into a high variance 3 point shooting contest. You can beat or lose to anyone like that. The Mavs have a terrific team, but when Doncic is out, we are supposed to beat them. We scored 114 points and still got our asses kicked without Doncic in the lineup. That formula is not going to work. Either the defense has to step up soon or a significant change will have to be made. I have some ideas, but we know nothing is going to happen until they get a look at the team with Precious and Mitch. That can’t happened soon enough because I’m getting sick of these no D players other than OG.

I need to see the team with Precious and Mitch back. I think they both will help greatly with size and defense and allow Thibs to play more of his lineups. This current roster doesn’t mesh with the coach.

Bbref says 23rd. Regardless, we’ve shown that our offense doesn’t hold up against decent defenses and we’re susceptible to wire to wire blowouts against the worst teams in the league.

A contender this is not. The Bridges trade is unrecoverable, the guy just gets worse and worse.

Pacers schedule from Dec 19 – 31 is brutal not worried at all

You do realize we are 23rd in strength of schedule, right? We’ve been embarrassed in every game we’ve played against a top 10 defense.

Oh yeah I forgot, the Bucks are a lock to pass us now that they’re figuring it out. MIA is only one game back, Nets 2 games back…

Bottom half of the play-in is honestly not out if the question. CHI and DET are only a game back of the Nets
