Bit late to this, but Ted Williams led the league in slugging every year he wasn’t fighting in WWII between 1940 and 1950, when he didn’t because he broke his elbow halfway through the year and didn’t qualify. The only player with a better career slugging percentage than Ted Williams in baseball history is Babe Ruth. Ted Williams was 2024 Aaron Judge for like 15 years
