i’ve had a few good friends over the years that weren’t interested in watching sports at all…

initially i was like: what’s wrong with them?

now, yeah, i don’t know, the pandemic really helped me to wean myself a bit off the whole: personal emotional identification with some distant entity thing, plus trying to be more family focused and stuff now…

also, donnie finally fessing up after years of posting that he never even watched any of the games…that was a big turning point for me, opened my eyes, during those really shitty 20 something win seasons i watched a lot of games, needlessly, just to fit in here, feel like i was in the know…

none of the three kids have any interests in watching sports…although truth be told – the stuff they watch is pretty weird to me too, another thing with being an old dad i guess…

are you still working?

it’s taking me almost 18 months since i’ve stopped working to get myself relatively fit and healthy again…i kinda wish i had gotten so caught up in work and whatnot to let myself get in such an unhealthy state…

I wasn’t far off. The Dodgers have been thrashing us almost interrupted this entire series.

The corpse of Grimes was 0-7 (0-3 from three) tonight but with 10 boards and 4 assists.

Generally it isn’t the best idea to use your individual relievers 3 days out of 4, especially for more than 3 outs. I didn’t check, but I think that was the case here.
