ess, no one is being a dick about iHart. Everyone here is sorry that he jilted us for more money, and there will be plenty of opportunity to read his boxscore numbers and weep. But preseason game 1 against assorted scrubs and dwarfs? Come on.

BTW, I i-hearted iHart a lot more at $9.2M than at $30M. Not that I’m crazy about OG at $36.6M or KAT at $49.2M, or giving up the most first rounders for a non-all-NBA player in Mikal, but since we’re likely to have a pretty fun team for the next 4 years, I’ll just have to live with it.

Hart averages 1.1 rebs/36 more than JJJ for his career. IDK, I’d probably give that up for the recent DPOY winner.

Josh Hart is a 6’4” guy who has played guard for most of his career, Jackson is a 6’11” center. The DPOY notwithstanding, he is the Allan Houston of bigmen when it comes to rebounding — when he ends up with the ball in his hands at the end of a possession it is strangely noticeable — like, “whoa, he must have taken a Claritin before that shot went up”.

not a bad area actually, not so smoky now that the fires have died down…my only real complaint of the area is the completely consistently crappy air quality index…something about the geography of the area causes bad air (ozone issue)…

can’t have it all I guess, like a good center, and a good power forward…

I’m not sure that a love of extra fatty dessert treats in itself qualifies one as a foodie, but he may indeed be one. Either way, I’m certainly happy that he enjoyed it (or at the very least was intrigued by it!), and next time I’m out in SanBernie I’ll purchase two of them, and you can have mine, geo. 🙂

Aaron Judge is the best Yankees since Ruth or maybe Mantle. He’s had two bad games. It’s ridiculous.

Judge has been a great regular season player, yet for some reason (sample size?) a horrible playoff player. Reg season = 3564 ABs .288 batting average with 1.010 OPS. Going into tonight’s game Playoffs = 175 ABs BA .206 OPS .756

I have no explanation.

Yeah I know that’s great but I’ll take a Center who for his career averages 23 ppg with 11 rebs while shooting 40% from 3pt.

Aaron Judge now has a career postseason BA of .206 in over 200 plate appearances. If you throw out the wild card games, he’s below the Mendoza line. There is no defending that. Postseason Giancarlo Stanton looks like Babe Ruth next to him.
