Hubert is right. Clark is the meal ticket for every single woman in that league. These women are making 80k a year. She’s going to get them to million dollar contracts in 5 years. If they play their cards right. Caitlin has some definite issues controlling herself and it would be good if she had some strong people to put her in check. I was pretty young during the MJ Knicks years, around 10, but I don’t remember MJ ever visibly getting so frustrated as she does. He went into killer instinct and made the other team pay when he felt he was wronged. If she can get there, she’ll be beyond legendary for the women’s game.

I don’t know what a WAR is, and I don’t know much else about anything that was posted in this thread, but I do know a good baseball performance when I hear of one. 6-6 with 3 home runs and 10 RBI while creating a 50-50 club is probably worth $8 million just for the days work.

Lindor’s WAR this year is 6.6, not 7.4… you need a pretty strong fudge factor to get there. Imagine how good Hank feels for getting Judge at half price with his 10.5 and 9.8 his last 2 healthy seasons…

Even Ohtani, a guy with Babe Ruth offensive figures AND at frontline starting pitcher couldn’t get 8 x WAR last season and to get 70M he had to defer 70% of his salary. Present value of money, yada yada.
