I kind of tuned out after darkness on the edge of town…maybe just interests shifted…

didn’t really listen through either the river or nebraska albums…there are songs I’ve come to appreciate and enjoy…

one of the points the narrator is getting across is how personal/contemporary the work is for the artist, and how much growth can be heard in their music over time…

I guess it’s just much easier for simple fans to get stuck on very specific musical styles…

great thing about art, you can always go back again to give it another try…

I think it may have been one of you all here who mentioned that once you’re a parent – you are only really okay as long as your kids are okay…

that is very good news…daughter is 22, I remember my early 20’s being very challenging…add in health challenges, and it’s a super tough period…

my heart goes out to folks in general on that transition from the home…things are so expensive, generally their resources are scarce…

and, it’s a tough world…wishing you all well…

We’re dropping my son off at college today…he has had some ups and downs but has worked really hard at getting back on track, and after a successful community college stint is entering his junior year at age 25 at a very nice liberal arts school.

This is great, Z-man. I hope he has a great time at the arts school. 😉
