I have never met Eric or anyone who knows Eric. Ivanka is apparently very nice.

I did have a poker buddy who went to college with Donnie and saw his father slap him across the face in a dorm room. I told that story here once.

I have always secretly felt bad for the kids.

yay, the season schedule was released…

just at a quick glance – there are three homes games close together november 15, 17 and 18…

better yet, 2 against brooklyn, the other against washington…oh yeah, pretty good chance you’re gonna leave those games smiling 🙂

Apropos of absolutely nothing, did I ever tell you all I went to school with Donnie Trump Jr? Was not in the top half of his class I can safely report. Wasn’t a bad kid, just spoiled, and we all felt sorry for him honestly.

A downside to naming my handle after our former POBO has been the association with other Donnies. Alas.

Also, before I assumed the ID of Donnie Walsh, I posted as somebody else in these parts. That character knew you briefly while you were in high school, so I know you didn’t go to that school with DTjr. Or college. So, that leaves grade school. My father’s alma mater a long time ago. Nice.

My good buddy out here in LA was in Ivanka’s class at Choate. Said she was a perfectly nice, quiet person.

Anybody know Eric from childhood? Care to report?

doing some cool basketball stuff with the boys…last year their mom moved them into a sports academy for school (before last year I had no idea it was even a thing)…

this summer the school is having some open “runs” for grades 9th and below…

as you can imagine things are a little chaotic with the 7th graders and below – holy cow though, the freaking 8th and 9th graders though: passing, cutting, looking really smooth out there…

very cool to see the young kids playing ball the right way – no holding the ball forever and chucking away from waaay outside…

very cool to watch…

It seems clear that we’re going to go into the season with this team and, if necessary, shop for another center like Valanciunas or Capela before the deadline when teams start tanking, so I refuse to worry about it.
