wow tyler really looks like an old young guy out there…so what happens with deuce now? trade deadline deal perhaps?

at some point in the season he may be behind: jalen, mikal, donte and now running your second unit, tyler kolek…

looks at bio…dang, he’s old though…he’s the same age as deuce (23)…how well can he play defense though?

it would be really nice to go from a score first point guard to a pass first point guard during the game…i’ll breathe for now, but, that would help our situation a lot…we looked soooooooo terrible during the playoffs when jalen stepped off the court…we just need to play even for that time off the court…

better yet if we can play him off the ball, get him an easy shot…julius will help with that…OG TBD on increased offense…

Losing Rizzo has been an upgrade cause they called up Ben Rice. Schmidt is the only SP that got hurt and Cole returned shortly after so no excuses for the rotation.

Cody Poteet was pitching lights out for Schmidt (3-0, 2.14 ERA) and even with Cole back (after a few shaky starts) Poteet would have made excellent long relief, which the Yankees desperately need with Rodon/Stroman and cortez struggling to go 5 every outting.

But yes Jasson getting hurt at same time as Stanton has low key been a huge blow, hopefully he returns soon after Stanton and sends Verdugo to the bench.

with Stanton being the only significant injury.

In all fairness they lost their 4 and 5 hitters and their 3 & 4 starters. Volpe went on a prolonged slump and Gil went from Cy Young to Cy Vance for 4 starts. And their best prospect pulled a lat hitting .389 at AAA.

Other than that… everything is great.

It’s just built up frustration from basically the entire Boone era of underwhelming seasons and wasting away Judge’s prime years.
