I think you are overestimating KAT’s current trade value. I’m not sure anyone thinks his contract is attractive and for sure no one thinks he’s the main star to build around anymore.

He’s an excellent offensive player and especially good if you want a stretch 5, but he’s not going to protect the rim and he’s arguably a bit soft and everyone knows it.

If anything, Leon won’t be interested because he thinks he’s a bad value for a one way player.

I go back and forth on it, but he’s a bit more intriguing when you have OG and Mikal on the wings starting and at times might have OG, Mikal, and Hart on the perimeter defensively or DDV instead of Hart and you’ll have endless space and possibly the #1 offense in the league.
