Brunson had a 35% usg rate and a 35% assist percentage playing on a team that had most of the other good players hurt, and he went for 32-7 per game while playing a good chunk of those games with some sort of injury. Kyrie played off the guy who finished 3rd in MVP voting and chipped in 21-5, they had completely different roles. This shit is crazy talk from a Knicks fan

I am with you here, but my point is that if your team has everything else the same except this version of Kyrie instead of Brunson, your team is at least as good and probably better. I’m happy to listen to counterarguments, but the narrative that Kyrie needs LeBron or Doncic and Brunson doesn’t is, well, curious.
