But if I’m one of those teams, I’m worried about $25 mil in a player with a tricky Achilles who maybe can’t play more than 30 mpg safely.

What makes OKC dangerous is they can offer him high AAV for less years and average his cost down with what they’re saving on Chet & Jalen. It’s similar to how we can afford to carry Hart at $18mm bc we’re only paying Brunson $24mm.

I don’t see another team that can do that, though, which is why I think rama’s right.

There’s really no one else good and in their prime who is available. Oubre? Malik Monk? D’Angelo Russell? They’re all older than iHart. Christ, Grayson Allen might be the hottest name on the market.
