Dinosaur Thibs with a nice in game adjustment to attack the Brunson double teams.

We’ve been getting those double teams since the Lakers game in early February! But hey better two months later than never 🙂

What really stood out is how bad the Kings’ interior defense is. Once Brunson started passing out of that high double-team, the Kings got roasted at the rim. The need a rim-protector real bad.

I think there’s reason to be hopeful.

Exactly! It was Thibs who was caught off guard at the start, and this explains those easy mid-range and 3pt SAC shots off screens. Brunson blitzes were also effective. Thibs made the adjustments. Brown never adjusted.

Both had excellent games while Mike Brown kept sleeping on the wheel.
