We tried. We fought, we never gave up, but they are the NBA champions for a reason. Jokic was insane, Murray was getting lose on the pick and roll time after time, and their offensive execution was at times impressive. We just couldn’t stop them tonight. We sorely missed OG on defense and Randle on the boards where we got killed. This was glaring all night long. We might have a chance with those two on the floor. We are not so far behind the Nuggets, and this is a very-very good thing to say.
