Z-man, I think you’re thinking of the clause about how a player traded mid-season can’t re-sign with his original team during that same season. It was designed to prevent teams trading good players solely as salary cap filler, where everyone has a wink-wink ingredient that the new team will release that player so he can return to where he started.

We don’t have the cap room to bring back IQ, but there’s no rule against it.

Raven I watched that game and had the exact same thought. RJ looks natural in a raps uniform. He flamed out here but maybe going back home to Canada will do him well. IQ looked sad though. And it was weird seeing him in that uniform.

Could we sign him this summer as a free agent lol?
