as an Australian, I’ve seen plenty of Dante love over the years by our media (i.e. any Aussie player that makes the NBA is immediately adopted by the populace and media deem him the greatest) but he has always been fools gold. Hopefully this time around works out for him

It kinda does though- when he does nonsensical things like he did last night. Rodman was a handful..but he do anything nearly as cowardly as 23 did in his last 2 incidents alone. Not to mention that they were unnecessarily excessive. He had a good reason in protecting Klay for grabbing Gobert..but did he HAVE to hold him in a chokehold for that long? Did he have a reason to do a spinning attack on Nurkic? That was not accidental. This man is a pro athlete- should anyone believe he wasn’t aware that if he did what he did, that he would hit someone? The man opened his hand at the end of it so he wouldn’t punch him. He’s the hard head that has to learn the hard lesson now because he’s mostly gotten away with bullshit that he shouldn’t have. “Gotten away” in the sense that he didn’t get punished thoroughly enough for him to learn his lesson. Might as well cut his nose off and give him The Elder Wand- he is the villain, and in such an unnecessary fashion
