This season, we started off well but have been falling off the cliff for weeks now. We are currently 15th and keep falling. Doesn’t look good.

As per Teamrankings.com “Defensive Efficiency” rating, Knicks ranked 3rd, 8th, 14th the past three seasons, and 16th so far this season.

One might check other websites as well, but the trend is clear. While Thibs is a defensively minded coach, the truth is that we played elite defense only during his first season in New York.
