Keels was waived by the Timberwolves. I guess the Knicks were right about him, but it still hurts that we seem to have nobody new in the development pipeline，We just have a bunch of live bodies to make team practices hard fought.

We have 5 players competing to start at the 2 and 3 spots. This is why IQ will not be extended. RJ + 1 of those other 4 players should be packaged with draft picks for a 2way forward with length who can shoot.

Since Mikal and/or OG are not available, – who else is out there that fits? –

RJ has been fortunate to stay healthy.

If he gets hurt and is out for ~6 weeks, will never get his starting job back.

IQ finished 11th & 10th in ft% his first 2 years in the league. He’s a good shooter. The fluke is that he shot 34.6% from 3 as a sophomore. He can shoot shoot.
