Here’s the Athletic article with a few more details. Sounds like a pretty serious accusation and I hope that if it’s true that Adam Silver comes down very hard on Toronto.

Sounds quite a bit like the Astros-Cardinals hack of a few years ago (former employer sharing privileged data with new employer). I suppose the lawsuit raises the stakes. The Cards were docked two draft picks at the time.

I initially figured this was just Dolan petulant litigiousness, but if MSG can actually back up its claims in this suit the Raptors could be in serious trouble.

I mean, it sounds like this employee literally emailed the Raptors proprietary information. Can’t do that! I imagine the questions of fact will boil down to what extent he was directed to do so by the Raptors organization.

there seemed to be a lot of pro-Hali, anti-Brunson sentiment on Twitter regarding our best possible lineups. (Factoring in that Edwards is our best player and should just be fed as much as possible.)

It seems like Kerr really wants it to be Brunson but it’s going to have to be Halliburton. Brunson will still be important but

1) Edwards is gonna be the man, which minimizes Brunson’s game

2) Brunson’s defense is a real problem

3) Halliburton is just better in the int’l format
