"GK, So when we play the Pacers next season, Obi will be guarding RJ? I’m trying to picture it, but it is hard."

Can you picture RJ guarding Obi? I've always thought Obi was a 3/4 tweener, but Thibs was too stubborn to try him at the 3. We'll see what Carlisle does. Some matchups could be difficult for him, but I don't think RJ is one of them.

Begley and Lowe also seem to suggest that IQ having a poor playoffs kind of soured a few of the folks in the front office on him. I guess I don't get the concept of paying him $20 million a year, but dumping him if he wants $25 million?

So…the Knicks want to low ball IQ, and if he plays well enough to merit more, which means he’ll be playing really well, they want to trade him in a package to get a star? I really think they just don’t particularly see a future for IQ here.

This is what Macri has been strongly implying for a while — specifically, that the FO and Thibs don't want to play IQ too much with Brunson, and thus don't feel like they'd be getting enough value out of having Quickley here at his market value. So if he costs what he deserves, they're better off trading him for someone they believe is a better fit with Brunson.

Agree with that thinking or not, but this seems consistent with what others have said.

"…the Knicks currently plan to give Isaiah Roby an opportunity as the primary backup forward…"

Oh, definitely. That's 100% a true fact. They are going to have Roby as the primary backup power forward and I guess Grimes is going to play, what, left bench then?

"…The Knicks would consider an extension for Quickley around $20 million per year, league sources told HoopsHype. Should Quickley play himself into a higher average annual salary, the Knicks may consider trading him as part of a package to acquire a star player."

Us bettors love to take action on both sides if it guarantees a profit! Hedging can be done in real time, but you have to be quick in identifying arbitrage opportunities and quick on the trigger because the lines shift rapidly.

I bet on summer league too, and yes, it’s a pretty inefficient betting market. I don’t make much money betting basketball since I don’t put a lot in, but I had about 5% return over the course of last season. That’s not amazing, but it’s definitely more fun getting 5% that way than from a bond yield!

By psycho, I mean be the type of guy who bets $ on one app for team A, then, if team A builds a big lead, bet $ on another app for team B, knowing it's Summer League and that each team blows leads repeatedly.
