The problem with the new CBA is that it’s not “only money” anymore, because i couldn’t care less about Dolan’s money, and the other billionaires. The problem is that when you cross the second apron, you have exactly zero ways to improve your team outside minimum contracts. I’m guessing some GMs will learn the new rules the hard way. But hey, i’m glad the Knicks won’t be one of those teams. Last two decades we would’ve been a lock to fall for this trap.
