oh, and how cool is it there were wooly rhinos roaming europe for a while…supposedly they taste like elk, i don’t know what elk tastes like though…

elk must taste good – cuz all those wooly rhinos got ate…

i need to check the dates, but, the human population in europe stayed really low (like less than 10,000 people) for a really long time (maybe until like 30k bp)…

i guess there are plenty examples of even recent/present cultures in the world which neither expanded their population significantly, or figured out any cool new stuff…to help them accumulate more stuff…

Yea..big no on KAT. I like him..he’s really good. But he’s not that much better than Julius- especially at PF. And..he’s a step backwards in the when-it-counts department. You know what… i might walk back on KAT. That escalating salary on his extension staring in ‘23-‘24 is INSANE. Player option for 61mil in ‘27??? Yikes.

I could see myself being talked into either KP or KAT bc in theory we shouldn’t need to shoot our proverbial load on either for the right price.
-Our opinions on Randle aside, if you’re targeting KAT, is there a Randle package you can build that won’t cost alot? I just don’t think the cost for KAT should be that high given you’re buying a bit low on him based on last season. Randle can play along a defensive C, while Towns struggled.
-Hate to give up Mitch, but its not like KP is a slouch on D as long as you keep him at the 5.

In theory, both KP and KAT would really open up the offense. But is the offensive tradeoff worth it, and would the team have a plan in place to tinker the starting lineup to balance their weaknesses?

I’d love to have both Mikal and RJ and play them together. But there’s little to no way you’re getting Mikal without giving them RJ.

To wind up with them both, I could easily talk myself into a stupid overpay. I’d give them Randle, Grimes, Obi, and three unprotected ones without blinking. They actually may even do that. I’d probably rather offer that package up for Zion, but Mikal is really fucking good.

it sounds as though time moves slowly there, a chance to sip at life and truly appreciate it…i’m with raven – i think i might be sending you my kids too 🙂

it’s hard for me to imagine the pace of life ever really slowing for those of you whom live in the city…
