Yeah, i agree. Then we should wait, and Crowder doesn’t seem to make sense for us. Maybe it’s just using the Knicks name to pump up his value and manage to trade him elsewhere.

Cyber, since I believe the end game is a mega-trade, dumping Fournier in isolation seems like poor asset management. His salary, position, and skill set make him an ideal filler piece. And the fact he is not playing probably does not diminish that value.

Saric & Crowder for Fournier gets some money off our books early I guess?

If the Suns want Fournier, i think it’s a good place for him, so we do good by him. And then those two are expiring, Crowder doesn’t want to play here, he wants a contender. And we don’t want vets, so we waive both. Maybe try to find a home for them before waiving, adding 1 or 2 teams to the trade, but if we can’t find it just waive them and Fournier’s money is off the books. One vet solved.

I’m a no on Crowder, even as a Fournier salary dump, unless they waived him immediately. The last thing we need is another aging vet on the roster. The Bucks, Hawks and Heat are better fits for him.

Yeah. I looked at an article suggesting he might be traded soon and they don’t mention us. The Bucks, the Heat and the Hawks were mentioned in the article I read.
