IMO the stats become less relevant when players are forced into roles by NECESSITY as opposed to coaching desire or player skill.

The offense was run through Randle because Burks was our PG for much of the season. lmao

You can’t run an offense through Burks Mitchell, or Fournier at all.

You can try to run it through RJ and Randle, but not because they are equipped to do it or because Thibs wanted to do it. It was because we literally had zero PGs on the team with Rose out and Kemba unplayable. Randle and RJ were the least bad options.

He’s still going to dribble a lot and create now because he can (which is a good attribute to have because you need that on every team), but he’s certainly capable of catch and shoot, pulling up etc..
