He kept the Mets in the game and was looking better as the game went on. The HR he allowed to Grisham was a 100 MPH fastball right on the outside corner, there was nothing wrong with that pitch.

When the Mets broke through in the seventh they forced the Padres to throw a whopping 50 pitches. Several epic at-bats in there. In this game they finally got that grind-out-ABs stuff to work.
