I sensed that, and appreciate it.* Your path through the NYCDOE gives you a unique window into those issues. Things are improving somewhat (imo, many would say the opposite, including some of my colleagues), but lots more to be done.

* I think we actually agree on most Knicks-related stuff too. On that note, I’ll concede that there’s no stronger indictment of the hybrid method than in the realm of school desegregation.

I would guess that we have crossed paths on 77th many times! All very highly-regarded schools and ElRo is a great landing spot, especially given the uncertainty of the HS admissions process. Hope all continues to go well!

Thanks folks, this last year has been especially grueling, partly because the kids were off-kilter post pandemic and partly because of the counting the days thing. I didn’t have it nearly as hard as the teachers did, though, or my AP. I owe more to them than I can ever repay.

Anyway, what the heck is going on with the Brunson deal?!
