Still, there’s a good chance that we have to get to the 40-win mark to avoid the play-in, certainly at least 39, unless one of BOS (please!) MIA or ATL goes into a tailspin and they all have relatively friendly schedules. This MEM game is critical…we will have trouble beating any of LAL, LAC or PHX and it would suck going into our 3 last home games on a 4-game bender. I would hate for that last game to be pivotal to avoiding the play-in.
